Urania Typewriter - Rare "Fraktur Typeface

The one and only Fraktur typeface that is not easily found on Typewriters. 

This is a collectors favourite typewriter due to its rare and unusual typeface. 

To make things better, it is on an uncommon typewriter, the Urania portable that had an elegant design with serial 157063 form 1936.

Well preserved and restored to be working and nicely type. 

Nice glass topped keys with nicely well preserved original Black legends. 

Line spacing lever is located on the right side, using the pull mechanism of the carriage. 

Fraktur is sought after by Typewriter collectors and calligraphy enthusiasts due to its special design that has a lot of cuts and curves and on the same side, Fraktur has a lot of history and many articles talk about its start, usage through out the Years, who used it, and how many other typefaces emerged from it. 

Typewriter is in full working order now and was professionally restored. 

I would say that is an excellent example with minimal age marks.

Carrying case included to hold it to the base. 

Platen is not new but with a backing paper of 85gsm weight, It should be fine. 

We did not change the platen to preserve the original parts of the machine.
