🚚 Shipping & Dispatch

• How fast will my order be dispatched?

  We promptly ship our typewriters in less than 24 hours of order within our working days. You will receive a tracking link as soon as your parcel is handed over to our courier or we packed your typewriter and its ready to go. 

• What happens if I order after the recommended Christmas cut-off date?

  We will still prepare and dispatch your typewriter within 24 working hours! However, due to courier holiday backlogs, we cannot guarantee arrival before December 25th for orders placed after the deadline.

• Do you ship internationally?

  Yes! We have safely delivered over 5,000+ restored typewriters to clients across 67+ countries.  1000s of Christmas typewriter gifts safely delivered since 2016. 

• Will I have to pay unexpected customs fees or duties?

  For US orders, standard customs clearance and tariffs are prepaid so there are no hidden fees at delivery ( email us if courier asked for a payment from your directly and we will handle it) .

  For other international destinations, standard duty/customs rules apply depending on your local regulations. Depending on destination, yes, there might be custom fees but usually requested by email or text before delivery.

• How do you ensure a delicate vintage typewriter arrives safely without damage?

  We use a Proprietary Global Safe-Transit Packaging Protocol tested over thousands of shipments:

  1. Carriage Lock: The carriage rail is mechanically locked to protect the escapement gears from transit vibrations.

  2. Inner Armor: Wrapped in dense, multi-layered shock-absorbing bubble cushioning.

  3. Double-Box Suspension: The machine is suspended inside heavy-duty double-walled outer boxes to absorb impacts.

• Is my package insured during transit?

  Yes. 100% of our shipments are fully insured against transit damage or loss & usually its not common at all. In the rare event of damage, our team replaces or repairs it immediately. We are responsible for handling this. 

• Will the typewriter be ready to use straight out of the box for Christmas morning?

  Absolutely! Every typewriter comes fully restored, fitted with a fresh new ink ribbon, and thoroughly tested. Unpack it, release the carriage lock, and start typing immediately!
