Very good Condition Underwood 3 Bank with a NEW platen fitted.
Serial 214XXX from 1929
One of the smallest typewriters in size and weight ever manufactured.
Mechanical condition:
Professionally restored to perfect working order. suitable for normal typing.
Nice dinging bell.
New & fresh Black/red Ribbon Fitted on original metal spools and with the original pins. Types with Black & red colour.
Cosmetic condition:
Considerably very good for its age.
Main paint issue is on left corner. we avoided re painting to keep authenticity & character.
Very good Decals. with paint marks on the sides.
scratches on the main frame.
NEW PLATEN FITTED - Only shop in the UK to offer that service. costs alone around £135.
Wonderful keys with minor usage marks.
Original lid and base. Always should stay on its base.
original handle on it and minor age signs on its outside.
