Rare Replica of Peter Mitterhofer "Viennese Model" typewriter

This is one of a small amount of Replicas of the first model of the MitterHofer typewriter from 1864 on exhibition in the Vienna Technical Museum. 

Made of wood and key levers made of metal. 

This is one good example that survived illustrating the history of the typewriter. 

This typewriter was found in Germany. 

Typewriter is a display piece with some moving parts but definitely not a working typewriter.
