  • Optionally, a new platen can be fitted—for £145 extra and about 2-3 weeks lead time—for those wanting optimal paper grip and perfect impressions.  

Cosmetic Condition & Accessories

  • The paint is original factory-finish and very rare in this colour — it’s stunning.  

  • Internally and externally, the machine has been cleaned thoroughly (“deep flushed”), so the mechanism looks and feels pristine. 

  • White keys are clean and bright.  

  • Includes its original carrying case, which remains in excellent condition — with minor age signs inside and in the pockets.  

  • Also comes with the original manual. 

Keyboard Layout & Typeface

  • QWERTY keyboard with additional accent characters — ready for most western European usage.  

  • Uses the PICA typeface, with approximately 10 points per inch — legible, classic, and excellent for prose or journaling.
