Remington Rand 5 Typewriter with coloured key legends to learn touch typing

Remington Rand 5 that was manufactured to help typists learn to tpuch type by adding colours to the key legend tops. 

Serial VV 881 XXX from 1937.

Mechanical condition:

Professionally restored to working order. BUT, its not recommended for heavy typing or a fast typist. perfect for occasional,

Not recommended for fast typists. great for a slow & calm typist. 

new rubber Rollers fitted and the platen was treated by us. 

 Rubber feet are worn due to age.  

New & fresh Black & Red  Ribbon Fitted. preferably use one coloured ribbons. 

Cosmetic condition:

Like all our typewriters, it was genuinely restored & serviced.

Excellent  cosmetic condition with minor marks on the frame in teh from of marks on the back or sides. 

Comes with Original base and lid. Age signs all over
