Excellent Condition Underwood 3 Bank with a NEW platen fitted.
Serial 215XXX from 1929
Original Wood Grain green frame.
One of the smallest typewriters in size and weight ever manufactured.
Mechanical condition:
Professionally restored to working order. suitable for normal typing.
Nice dinging bell.
New & fresh Black/red Ribbon Fitted on original metal spools and with the metal pins. Types with two colours but red will occasionally leave a small black mark.
Plus, a NEW platen& Rollers is fitted.
Cosmetic condition:
Considerably Excellent for its age.
Very good to Excellent Decals on the front and the one on the top is excellent.
NEW PLATEN FITTED - Worth £140 separately.
Wonderful glass topped keys. Nice condition with key tops having minor age and usage marks.
Please inspect all photos of the back and sides as there are marks on the paint. but from experience, these are normal and considerably excellent.
Original carrying lid and base. typewriter should always be on its base. Both have age marks and usage signs.
new feet and washers fitted where needed and new felt added on the inside.
Original handle with age and usage marks on it.
