One of the typewriters We loved but it is time for it to be passed to a new owner. Lots of history. 

Serial C-112XXXX from 1942

In 1942 Royal produces mainly US Navy Radio Mill Arrow 'C' Models. Approx 56,000 portables made, likely mostly for military use, 1942 to 1943

Not many survived with their original US Navy cases. 

This typewriter was used by the United States Navy during World War II.

Only types CAPS and has the rare Mill Key. Slashed O. 

Mechanical condition:

Professionally restored & serviced to working order. 

New & fresh Black/red Ribbon Fitted on metal spools. Preferably type in one colour as its types on CAPS, like Telegraph. 

Nice dinging bell and smooth typing. 

Cosmetic condition:

Like all our typewriters, it was genuinely restored & serviced.

Very good t cosmetic condition with  Minor age signs on the main frame, 

The Main cosmetic issue is the worn paint on the left side of the margin covers. 

Please inspect all photos to evaluate. 

Kindly note that the typewriter was previously cleaned with a kind of spirit that still smells inside the mechanism and case. 

all clean glass topped keys, minor marks on some. 

Comes with Original carrying that secures the typewriter and can be removed from with four bottom screws. 

Case has bump on one side, pictured. 

Cover is worn and detached,
