Extremely Royal P Telegram Typewriter from the GPO.

This is an Extremely rare version of the Royal P typewriter 

1 in 10 Million.. literally as nothing like it before and it was rescued by us in 2021 during covid lock down as it was on its way to be thrown away due to bad condition. 

Managed to rescue and repair to work again. 

This was used by the GPO, before there was Royal Mail in the UK to transmit telegram messages. 

It had 3 Banks keyboard instead of common 4 Banks, 

Serial P 232XXX from 1930. 

Mechanical condition:

Professionally restored to working order. will not recommend to an extremely fast typist and kindly note, it was used for typing Telegrams, thus, all Caps. no lower case. 

Therefore, I recommend by to add to a collection or for minimal typing. Again, nothing like seen before. 

New & fresh Black Ribbon Fitted.

Nice dinging bell and smooth typing. 

Cosmetic condition:

Like all our typewriters, it was genuinely restored & serviced.

For its Age and how it arrived ( Wish I have a picture taken)  in very good cosmetic condition for now with age marks on the frame. 

Chrome aged and will show age marks 

Key tops cleaned but also show age marks 

No case supplied. 

New feet fitted as old ones were all worn and cracked.
