Mechanical & Functional Highlights

  • Fully restored to perfect working order — every part has been attended to so typing is fluid and dependable.  

  • Comes with a fresh purple ribbon, ready to roll the moment it arrives. 

  • Optionally, a new platen can be fitted—for £145 extra and about 2-3 weeks lead time—for those wanting optimal paper grip and perfect impressions.  

Cosmetic Condition & Accessories

  • Internally and externally, the machine has been cleaned thoroughly (“deep flushed”), so the mechanism looks and feels pristine. 

  • Minor marks on the outer frame and specially on the corners. 

  • keys are clean and bright with minimal marks.  

  • Includes its original carrying lid, which remains in very good condition — with minor age signs on the outside

  • QWERTY keyboard 

  • Uses the clear PICA typeface, with approximately 10 points per inch — legible, classic, and excellent for prose or journaling.
