"Sigh Saver" Remington Model 5T Typewriter

Uncommon Sight Saver typeface, 6 CPI or 6 pts/Inch extra large typeface. 

The typewriter was rescued long time ago and not until now we have been able to work on it.

Mechanical condition:

 Professionally rescued and restored to working order. 

Made for typist seeking extra large typeface. this is extremely large compared normal elite or pica. nearly double the size. 

New & fresh Black Ribbon Fitted on its original spools.  

Rubber rollers changed BUT PLATEN is cracked, if you wish to invest in a new one, happy to, needs 3-4 weeks extra and costs £150 ( $ 200 ).

Cosmetic condition:

 marks on the frame. Considered excellent with normal age marks. 

Not bad overall state. was we preserved. 

One inner screw to the base, out of 4 is missing. So held by 3 only. 

Comes with original carrying case. Normal age marks on it & we will fit a new handle.
