Extremely rare to find Imperial 50 with Telegraph typeface. 

Only types in Caps and was used pre world war 2. 

Serial Z 175XXX from 1940.

The Background & Story 

This was in our personal collection and was acquired with another Imperial typewriter. 

Previous owner had it for a long time and was used in her previous job without specifying any more details. These have been used a lot to type telegraph messages during the war and communication messages.

You can find 100s of Imperial 50 when this Telegraph with no shift key and only types in one colour and CAPS is one in a million.

Minor Scratches all around but nothing major to mention.

Minor marks on the key tops. 

No shift key as it types only in CAPS. 

Appreciate zooming all pictures for better evaluation of its cosmetic condition.

Perfect Dinging Bell.

Main Spring flushed like new now. 

All Mechanism was flushed with each key taken out for a proper clean and segment flush.

Black Ribbon fitted on Original Metal Spools.
