1.Remove the Outer Body Shell: Requires a standard screwdriver.

Turn the typewriter over and carefully remove the bottom screws holding the main frame to the internal mechanism. Lift the mechanism safely out of its protective metal housing.

2.Clear Out Perished Factory Rubber:Remove old debris.

Locate the four mounting points on the sides and bottom of the chassis. Scrape away the old, melted, or compressed factory rubber washers and clean the surface area.

3.Position the New Washers: Zero adjustments needed.

Slide our 4 new custom-sized replacement washers onto the factory mounting pins. The precise diameter ensures a snug, shift-free fit.

4.Reassemble and Test Clearance: Immediate mechanical alignment.
