 This is the Early version of SM2 from 1951. Serial 168XXX

SM2 Rejuvenated & Reconditioned  to Excellent condition after long hours of Work on it and Dismantling it for a Deeper Clean. 

NEW Platen fitted. 

Mechanical condition:

Professionally restored to perfect working order.

Smooth and Will type for long hours. 

New platen fitted. New fresh rubber layer that was professionally prepared for our typewriters. Costs around £135 to be separately restored in our workshop. 

All Options and functions tested. 

New & fresh Black and Red Ribbon Fitted.

New washers fitted all over the frame. 

Cosmetic condition: 

Like all our typewriters, it was genuinely restored & serviced.

Very good cosmetic condition for its age. One of  Our best ever seen from SM2 early models. 

Marks on the main frame due to age with a beautiful ARMY green colour. 

Comes with Original carrying case that had its lock replaced. Clips but not cosmetically perfect. age signs on its outside.
