Mechanical & Functional Highlights

  • Fully restored to  working order — every part has been attended to so typing is fluid and dependable.  

  • Comes with a fresh purple ribbon, ready to roll the moment it arrives. 

  • Back Space is not reliable, will deem as not working to avoid any disappointment as the lever is worn and not clipping to the escapement. 

  •  New platen can be fitted in 2-3 days if requested for extra £150 ( if not available, will need 3-4 weeks) 

Cosmetic Condition & Accessories

  • The paint is original factory-finish , Glossy  finish  — it’s stunning.   

  • Internally and externally, the machine has been cleaned thoroughly (“deep flushed”), so the mechanism is good with minor age marks. 

  • Off white keys are clean and bright.  

  • Mark on left side of the lid. 

  • Includes its original carrying lid, which remains in Excellent condition — with minor age signs inside and outside, and tail broken, will work by pushing the zipper. 

  • Original manual included. 

Keyboard Layout & Typeface

  •  QWERTY keyboard — ready for most western  usage.  

  • Uses the Cursive Script typeface, with approximately 11 points per inch — legible, classic, and excellent for prose or journaling.
