There is a story behind these post-war SM9 Luxe Fraktur machines.
as per the previous owner, A club for „preserving the German typerstyles“ ordered later Olympia machines and had them adapted by the factory to their needs.
It has, for example, more Ligatures than the pre-war machines. But to get more Ligatures they had to combine other keys.
The lower case x moved to the =, the s the way we know it is combined with the X, because the Uppercase S shares it with the more useful Fraktur „middle s“)
