Fully Restored Silver Reed Silverette Portable Typewriter | Rare Historical Ephemera Package with Original Invoices & Manual

📖 Product Overview & Historical Ephemera: A Tangible Time Capsule Discover the charming simplicity and lightweight portability of the Silver Reed Silverette, a beloved mid-century manual typewriter celebrated for its sleek aluminum chassis, reliable Japanese engineering, and minimalist aesthetic.

What makes this particular unit an extraordinary museum-grade artifact for collectors and literary historians is its incredible original ephemera package: attached directly to its original instruction manual are the original purchase invoices dating back to its historic retail sale. This rare documentary provenance turns the typewriter into a true time capsule, preserving the exact paper trail of its first owner alongside factory documentation. Meticulously overhauled, serviced, and tested at our Milton Keynes workshop by Walid & Joujou (featured restoration experts on BBC’s The Repair Shop), this machine operates with smooth key responsiveness and is ready to write straight out of the box.
