Baby Empire Deluxe Typewriter

Serial 26XXX from 1939.

This is the pre-war model that have red Backspace , Manual  Shift lock, Red margin release, and a bell that dings at the end of the line in a special way. long arm for line spacing as it was previously a pinch mechanism or just knob twist. 

Mechanical condition:

Professionally restored to working order.

Its not the best get perfect prints as the platen roller is known to be the smallest ever with a 1" diameter only. 

Would recommend for someone who is not looking for perfect prints and a typewriter on the go as its ultra portable and fits anywhere. 

New & fresh purple Black Fitted on original GR9 metal spools.

Professionally cleaned and serviced.

Good Decals.

New Rubber feet fitted. 

There are  minor age marks but from experience, this is one of the best we ever seen as its well preserved. 

All original screws on front and back with age signs. 

Nice clean keys  

Original lid. good leather handle and label on the inside 

Extremely rare to find original Empire manual included.
