1920 Early serial Underwood 3 Bank Typewriter - New platen

Extremely rare Serial, One of 3 or 4 known Underwood 3 Bank with serial under 6000. 

If you are a typewriter collector with interest in early serials, you cant miss on this one. We  had it in our collection for a long time due to the serial and now typing after 105 years,

Serial  5500 from 1920.

One of the smallest typewriters in size and weight ever manufactured. 

Mechanical condition:

Professionally restored to  working order. suitable for occasional typing due to age. 

Fitted a new platen, 

Nice dinging bell.

New & fresh Black/Red Ribbon Fitted on original metal spools and with the original pins.  

Cosmetic condition:

Considerably Excellent for its age.  

  Very good Decals behind the platen. 

NEW PLATEN FITTED  

clean keys but some will show age marks, 

Original lid and base. Always should stay on its base. New handle fitted and normal of age marks on the outside. 

Main marks are on the front due to usage of the lid.
