Fully Restored Olympia Splendid SF Ultra-Portable Typewriter | Rare Italic #89 Typeface & Brand-New Platen

📖 Product Overview: A Masterpiece of West German Engineering

Meet the Olympia Splendid SF—a robust, ultra-low profile West German classic freshly restored in an elegant Off-White lid with contrasting Grey side panels. Crafted with legendary West German precision, the Splendid SF isn’t just built to look impressive; it is engineered to deliver world-class typing performance.

What makes this specific machine extraordinary is its rare Olympia Italic #89 Typeface. Typing on an Italic Olympia produces a sleek, forward-leaning script aesthetic with the crisp consistency of a precision machine—making it one of the most desirable ultra-portable models ever produced for poets, authors, and serious collectors alike.

Meticulously overhauled for at least 8 hours at our specialized UK workshop, this stunning typewriter merges lightweight mobility with a heavy-duty typing feel. Enhanced with a brand-new recovered rubber platen, this museum-grade writing instrument is 100% functional, delivers exceptionally clear prints, and is built to go the distance.
