Olympia SG1 Typewriter (For Sale within the UK)

Rescued typewriter as it was heading to a tip and thrown away. 

Our first repair and service but this line will continue soon

Managed to return to type nicely as it has a clear and large PICA typeface. 

Heavy typewriter. Needs a proper desk and a pad. 

Mechanical condition:

Professionally serviced to working order.

Smooth and Will type for long hours. 

BUT: Due to rough years of usage and carriage slightly shifted of its base.

1- TAB does not work as you precisely set and clear tabs. 

2- right margin will not stop the carriage. so, after the bell ding, it will continue. 

3- Proportional spacing was fixed, but not 100% perfect as it needs to be typed on in a certain pace and might go for one space only occasionally. 

New & fresh Black and Red Ribbon Fitted.

Cosmetic condition: 

Like all our typewriters, it was genuinely restored & serviced.

Frame is  in  good condition for its age with minor age marks on the main frame. 

Marks on the corners and lid. please inspect all photos. 

Clean and polished keys.

QWERTY Keyboard  

 PICA typeface.
