One of the typewriters We loved but it is time for it to be passed to a new owner. Lots of history. 

Serial C-1143XXX from 1942

All enamel is in Black as it was a war finish to avoid any shinny parts. 

Had it since 2018 and there is No info at all about this model other than one deleted website asking for anyone who has this model for sale and mentioning that it was used in the US Military Medical  departments. 

We shared a Facebook picture the upper cover part in 2019 in hope we get more info. in the Same year, the US army issued 56000 Royal Arrow with Serial starting in C o be used in the Army departments. 

Background:

Passed to us from Son of original owner from Norfolk Area in the United Kingdom. Belonged to his dad who serviced in World War 2 in the English army. As per the original owner, it was a present from friend in the US Army and he did not personally use but kept as a display in his house. 

Mechanical condition:

Professionally restored & rescued  to working order. 

New & fresh Black/red Ribbon Fitted. will type using two colours. 

Nice dinging bell and smooth typing. 

Cosmetic condition:

Like all our typewriters, it was genuinely restored & serviced.

Good to  Very good t cosmetic condition with lots of age signs on it  as it looks like it was literally used on the field. 

frame will show a lot of fading paint due to age. 

All inner parts are in Black and there is minimum usage of chrome to avoid shinny parts. 

Comes with Original carrying that secures the typewriter and can be removed from with four bottom screws. Condition is rough and as show in pictures.
